2-Postgraduate study is often required by employers, so continue study with a masters or PhD in mathematics.

If you want to be a professional mathematician doing research , you will need to get a PhD in mathematics. If you are interested in applied mathematics, then you may only need a master's degree in mathematics or a related field (statistics, bioinformatics, data science, etc.).
