What are some tips for choosing your first-year university courses?

There are so many options, I simply can't decide! Not only do I love physics, but I also love music, geology, chemistry, astronomy, and mathematics. I want to keep myself open, but 10 is the maximum. #college #university #courses #first-year

I would recommend selecting courses that you think are most interesting and that put you on a path towards graduating in your major. You can also ask older students which professors for recommendations for the most engaging classes. Good luck!

Snow (Xue)’s Answer

I would recommend taking your requirement courses first, trying to finish them as soon as possible. In this way, you can dedicate to your field of study, only taking classes that you are interested in as you progress through college and don't need to worry about requirement courses that you may not like. You can also talk to your counselors; they are very knowledgeable and usually can give you very useful advice regarding of course selections.
