Is there a growing need for animal professionals?

Not always, in the case of the Scimitar horned oryx at one point it could not be found in the wild and it was only found in captivity. Last month 90 individuals were released into the wild and last time I heard they already have had a child. Also animals that are part of a SSP or species survival program or purposely sent to breed and to help grow the species.
