Avinash’s Answer

Yes, but you have to manage strict structural boundaries.

As a Chartered Accountant (CA), your working hours during audit or tax seasons will be incredibly long and demanding. Because active, short-term stock trading requires real-time monitoring of live market charts, balancing both during the corporate workday is highly challenging.

The Strategy: Instead of day-trading or tracking rapid chart fluxes while you are on the clock for clients, adopt a swing trading or long-term positional investment model. Do your chart analysis, balance-sheet reviews, and economic evaluations over the weekend, set automated target order alerts, and let your capital compound cleanly while you focus on your primary corporate accounting role.

Zeeshan’s Answer

Yes, You can balance working as a CA and stock trading at the same time.
If you have interest and are well equipped with stock trading, you can take that up as a side income and grow in near future, with the right resources and predictions you can even build well and find a great career for yourself.

Kinnari’s Answer

You can balance both.
However insure on the income as both will be considered as business income and will imply taxes.

Ali’s Answer

I believe you can, always you've gotta ask yourself about how much you are willing to put in a week to make both a success. From my personal experience, doing 2 jobs at the same time works if you like and believe in the second job, this is what got to think about it in the first place.
