Are there any other ways to volunteer for a cause online beside this one?

I want to get more involved in the world and be able to network, or volunteer for activities around the world. The best way as people to connect to each other is through the internet and I want to see if there are other online volunteer options. #volunteering #networking #social-networking

Thank you comment icon Hi Ken! I hope you're doing well. Could you please provide a summary of the content within these links you posted about online volunteering? Many students do not click on links provided without some form of explanation, and providing a comment on the URL you’re posting will ensure that the student clicks on the information you’re posting. We're also experiencing a lot of link rot, which is rendering many of the links people post useless to the students (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Link_rot). Please edit your advice whenever you have a chance. Thank you comment icon The content was too varied. The students need to understand that they have to do what is necessary to access important data. Ken Simmons

Kate A.’s Answer

Hi! I'm so glad whenever I read about people who are interested in volunteering! It's something I've been doing for a long time and I also organize people to volunteer as a career now! www.volunteermatch.org is a great resource to begin your search! You can look for local organizations and search by interest as well. Good luck!

Karen’s Answer

Suggest you research volunteermatch as well as search to find volunteer resources in your own city or state. Or if there's a cause you care about, such as helping at a food shelf, search for food shelves in your area. Then contact them and ask if they need volunteer help.
