Hey Alyssa! As long as you take the required pre-requisites for the vet schools/vet tech schools you want to apply to, then you will be more than prepared! A lot of colleges have “pre-vet” tracks that you can be apart of, which will ensure your class schedule will contain most (if not all) the prerequisites. I went to the University of Maryland in College Park and majored in Animal Science and was on the pre-vet track. They have an on campus farm, so I got a lot of hands on experience!
