Brianna’s Answer

I have never used any of the student support programs provided at my school, because I never saw it as an actual helpful program that might benefit me in anyway. I thought that these programs were just a way for the schools to make themselves look good and appealing, so that it reflects better on the stat reports. Looking back now, these programs were definitely there and helpful for me if I had taken a chance and try it out myself.

Rebecca’s Answer

I did not use many support programs when I was in the college. I recalled that I had used the career office to look for intern and management trainee program opportunities.
From time to time, large corporates may post their job opening the career office. I would look for summer intern opportunities there. On the other hand, these corporates also worked with career office to organize management trainee recruitment program for final year students. Information sessions would be organized. to introduce their company, the program details, etc. It is open for all final year students to apply.
On the other hand, there are career counsellors available in career office. They also give guidance to students who has any question on their future career, how to look for job opportunities, etc.
This support service is really useful to me. I am not sure you have similar needs.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

Matt’s Answer

I realized my final year of college that there were many programs that my university provided that I had not taken advantage of or experienced on the account of being busy with my own affairs and possibly thinking that I had things under control. Many of my peers were likely the same and had a mindset that they simply did not need help. We all need help and many times don't realize we do. It's always best to set pride aside. I would encourage you to explore all of your options that could benefit you even if it's a support program that you are unsure would be for you. College can be difficult to navigate and university programs are specifically designed for students. Don't let an opportunity pass you by when it could have a profound positive impact on your college experience and life.
