Dirk’s Answer

I fully agree with the suggestions from the 'Chris' in the previous answer. Just one comment: if your 'Powerful Personality' means 'My way or the Highway', then you might want to slow down a little. I was very much like that at one of my first jobs, and it did not help me one thing. Other employees are also smart, but they took my comments as personal criticism...

If you are more of a diplomat than I was, the above mentioned jobs are perfect. If you have a great way of working with people and convincing them of your suggestions, then consulting and sales are perfect suggestions.

A powerful personality if channeled in a positive manner can make a great leader. An active listener can help you climb into a managerial position and take on a lot of high level responsibilities.

Howard’s Answer

Hi Cheyenne

If you have a strong personality you may want to use your social skills in the field of business. I think you should first try to discover exactly what you like to do, understand your personality in a comprehensive way and then choose a profession that you think you might enjoy. Go to college to help you in choosing the right profession and when you are there, learn from a career counselor. I enjoyed teaching.

Perhaps you should take a free personality test that helps you in understanding the possible careers you might enjoy. You can try the Holland Code Career test as one possibility.

Hope this helps and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Sincerely,

Professor Christiansen

Connor’s Answer

Hello Cheyenne!

I hope this answer finds you well. I am currently serving in the military so I get to deal with a plethora of different people with different personalities from all around the world. It sounds like you are confident in yourself and what you bring to the table. Every company needs high energy workers who are going to share their ambitions with not only themselves, but those around them. Being friendly and personable is a great trait to have as from my experience being respected and getting along with others great an environment where productive work takes place and can be uplifting. If you really enjoy the social aspect of life look for career paths where you will frequently be interacting with others.

Best of luck in all of your future endeavors!

Sehel’s Answer

Powerful personality combined to social skills can make a great combo to initiate a career in sales by having strong convincing methods while keeping a good relationship with clients and partners.
It could also lead to a career in communication and particularly in PR as it takes someone who loves to be around people and likes social life to handle all the events and also being able to push for their ideas.
