Hello Ruben,

Hope all is well. While I do not lay floors for a living, I do know some things about flooring due to many family members being in this field. In terms of your question, when I think of flooring I always think about the following;
1. Different types of flooring available and being able to appropriately install different types.
2. Time commitment and scheduling of laying and installing new floors.

For example, in terms of flooring, you can install many types and I will start with Ceramic Flooring. One of the difficult things about ceramic flooring is how to appropriately prepare the files so that the patterns are adequate throughout the area you will be laying the tile. For example, have you taken into consideration any of the areas that will require many different cuts and pieces, have you checked if there is an area that you will need to do first/last, will you need to remove doors due to the increased height of the tile and foundation, do you need special tile sizes from the start to avoid a small piece at the end? All of these things are usually thought before laying the file since you don't want your mortar to dry up while taking measurements.

The other difficult thing about tile is finding which flooring is best for the area. Should you use a laminate, hardwood, ceramic tile, all of this should be planned prior to beginning the job and consider the following: Is it a high traffic area, is it an area where this changes for flooding, do you want to have low or high maintence for the flooirng to look nice. These are things you should consider in order to have less changes of any rework during the job.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks!
