As a hygienist, you will have one on one patient interactions. Introverts and extraverts do well in the field. You must be able to communicate clearly, be compassionate and acknowledge that not everyone loves going to the dentist. You will have to accept each individual as they are, you can't be crabby or take it personally. You must be healthy and have good, strong hand coordination with no back or shoulder problems.
