Hey Theodore,
That's a great question, and I remember wondering the same thing when I was younger! 😊
When it comes to planning your career, it's essential to discover your interests and passions. A helpful way to do this is by taking a career assessment test, which can provide a well-rounded view of your strengths and preferences. After that, you can focus on the top three areas that interest you the most.
To learn more about these fields, try talking to family members who have experience working in them, or reach out to your teachers and community groups for additional insight. The more information you gather, the easier it will be to create a successful career path for yourself!
I hope this advice helps!

Planning for the future can be daunting! As you get older, your goals and priorities will change, but for now I suggest you start planning for a few different aspects of life:
1. Education and career planning: Start thinking about what you are interested in for your career. You do not have to decide just yet, but start exploring based on your interests. Ask a lot of questions, research careers, shadow those who have careers that you find interesting. Based on your career ideas, plan your education steps. Will you need a bachelor's degree? Do you need career and technical education? What schools would help you achieve your career goals?
2. Financial planning: No matter how young you are, start planning for your financial future. Learn how to operate within a budget. Start a savings plan, even if you can only save a few dollars a week. Talk to your parents/guardians on how you will pay for your education after high school. Start looking into financial aid, loans if necessary, and scholarships.
Having a plan is a great place to start, just remember as you go through life your plans may change!

I would write out my end goal and bullet point steps into getting there. It is hard to figure out the future, but planning can look like: a career, schooling, housing, where you want to reside, and who you want to help.
