Thank you for your question. This is a good question. Everyone may have a different answers. It really depends on your own values what is a better person. Having said that, I am glad to hear that you have the passion and curiosity to explore the world.
Firstly, you may have to have some reflection what is a 'better' person in your own view. You can also seek guidance from your mentor, parents, etc.
Below are my suggestions :
1. Think about the career you have interest. Complete the college on relevant degree
2. Explore any opportunities to be exchange student in other countries. It can help you to explore your horizon. You can also consider any overseas internship opportunities
3. Participate voluntary work in the community
4. Be accommodate and patience to your friends and family
5. Extend the love to other people. Be positive all the time
6. When facing challenges, don't give up. Try your best to overcome it.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

Get out of your comfort zone. Pick up other peoples trash - it was just earth day! Buy someone a cup of coffee. Try harder at all things. Voila! You are now better than before you saw this.

ANDI’s Answer

I'd start with a Career Aptitude Test... a test that helps you hone in on your areas of skill and/or interest. A test like this can show you which fields may best suit you and may begin to steer you in the right direction.
A second step would be to take the "year off" after graduation to explore a few entry level jobs before deciding which field to jump into college or trade school for, or before going straight into the "real" work force or military.
If you are truly lost, a third option may to be to speak with a military recruiter and/or to take the ASVAB which is just a Career Aptitude Test for the military that helps them decide which jobs you qualify for before enlistment. The military has a plethora of options ranging from aircraft and vehicle maintenance, to dental hygenists, to cooks, to cryptologists, to xray techs. A simple 4-yr contract may give you the aid you need to attend college afterwards or drive you towards a career field you choose.

Kodi’s Answer

Hey Antonio, great question! The journey of personal growth will look different for everyone. My great grandmother always said “Travel is the best education.” And I totally agree with her. My journey started when I moved away from my home town for college. Though I only moved 3hrs away it was the start of being somewhere new and on my own. So your first step into traveling can be small like that. After that I lived in China, Japan and Turkey and traveled to many countries all throughout my 20’s while living/working overseas. For me traveling and living abroad, exposing myself to other cultures, ways of life, different foods, beliefs, people, etc. helped create the open minded, curious and patient man I am today. Also met my wonderful wife on my travels and we help each other grow as well and she loves traveling as much as I do.

Now I do have to say there are people that travel and live in other countries that I didn’t necessarily enjoy meeting but you can find people like that in your home town as well. I think the mindset you already have is what is going to make you the best version of yourself and the path you choose you will help you create memories along the way. You can travel and not learn a thing, you have to travel with the open mindedness you have now.

Hope that helps a bit. I encourage traveling always as one way to grow. Remember to do research about where you’re going and travel safe, have fun, try new things, embrace the cultures, take the good with the bad and grow from it all.
