Paul’s Answer

I obtained a degree in Business/Public Administration.

I focused much of my preparation in the area of the social sciences. This included courses in psychology, sociology, economics, business, history, and political science and law.

I think good colleges in your region would be Kansas and Kansas State. They both have excellent programs in these subject areas. Plus, you would be paying in state tuition, rather than going to another state and paying the higher out of state tuition and expenses.

Marianna’s Answer

Hello Nitin!, I just graduated from college, with a degree in Finance and Accounting at the University of Warsaw in Poland. During my studies I had the opportunity to participate in an Erasmus exchange at the University of Maastricht, Netherlands. That was a super enriching experience. When it comes to economics at least where I'm from high school do not offer any supplementary finance courses, but I think in this industry networking is key. Thats why I would recommend joining any student association or leaving for an exchange if thats an option!

Currently in the process of getting a telecommunications/multimedia communications degree, which is a bachelor in art. colleges vary depending on where you are located and I would recommend before choosing a school visit the campus if you can so you can get the just of where major buildings are. I live in Ohio so most people recommend Ohio State, Akron, Mount Union, and Youngstown State. I personally would recommend Youngstown State, the campus is not huge but not tiny so once you know your way around your set, Akron has a massive campus same with Ohio State, Mount Union is bigger than Youngstown state but smaller than Ohio State.

Hello! My degree is in Graphic Design, which I got from Full Sail University. They offer support for career development and skills in the field you want. As far as what classes to take in high school, I'd suggest, aside from art classes, doing any type of class that allows you access to computers, as well as finance classes just to boost your knowledge of the real world. Hope this helps!

Hi Nitin, I study Politics and International Relations in London (I'm from the UK). I truly believe you can study almost anything as long as it is at a top university and you work to fill out your CV with meaningful things! Hope that helps.

Hello Nitin! I'm a Data Engineer (like a software engineer/computer programmer for data). It's an incredibly rewarding career, especially when you put your skills to use for a company like mine! I see that you're in the KCMO area. I studied at the Missouri University of Science and Technology, but if you're wanting to stay closer to home, I think either UCM or UMKC are both excellent schools as well. Try taking a programming class in high school if they offer one!

I think mathematics is a subject not to be neglected. There's a 99% chance that you won't use the theorems you'll learn in math class, but there's a 100% chance that you'll use the problem-solving skills in real life !
