What career in finance or business would be best for someone who likes being around other people but would also allow for days for them to work alone?
-I'm in 10th grade, thinking about going into finance/business
-Would love to be around other people, but not having that as being the main part of my job
-Like not a financial assistant or a bank teller

I was a financial advisor and it was a good combination of technical skill and interpersonal skill. This is a very good career for someone who has be ability to both understand financial concepts and be able to explain them. The first step, however, is to gain the client's trust and that is where interpersonal skill is very important.

If you are looking for people interaction and also work by yourself. I would recommend focusing on Financial Reporting. It will allow you to work closely with business and give time to work by yourself to build the reports that you are asked, many brainstorming sessions with business partners to understand their need and business itself.
Also with this job you will make the numbers visible for everyone in the company to have a better strategical discussion.
Yes, there is AI that will impact the reporting world, but implementation of AI will help financial reporting to move forward to be more in a guiding side of the job.
