For your second question about what art degrees are out there for you, I will tell you about them so you can start deciding which one best fits your needs and plans. Some art degrees are : Fine Arts Degree, Analytical Arts Degrees and the degrees are called a Bachelor of Arts (a B.A. degree) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts ( a B.F.A. Degree) an Associate degree in Art and if you go for a Masters Degree, you would get a Master of Arts (an M.A. degree) or a Masters of Fine Arts degree (an M.F.A. degree). The degree you get all depends on how long you want to go to college.

It is always advisable, if you go for a Bachelors or Masters Degree, to look into getting a teaching credential as that can greatly enhance your versatility as an artist looking for an extra income. Teaching, whether privately or for an employer, is a wonderful way to share your knowledge and bring out the best in students. The teaching credential is not a degree, however it is more like a training and than an exam and once you pass that exam, you are credentialed to teach.
