I am looking to start a mowing company how would I get jobs?

I'm a 15 year old with the equipment for mowing but i don't have any jobs.

One thing you could try doing is going door-to-door. Just knock on people's doors (perhaps people with unkept lawns) and let them know who you are and what you are trying to do. If they say yes and you do a good job, you can think about setting up a system where you mow their laws every 2/3 weeks or so to have consistent income. Another idea you could try is making flyers and leaving them around neighborhoods, or posting them to facebook/neighborhood group chats. More often than not, people love to see teenagers being ambitious!

It starts off slow, but, before you know it, things will take off! I want to encourage you to always take pride in your work. The number of satisfied customers is much more important than the number of total customers!

Also, with summer behind us, it is time to look for jobs in raking leaves and if applicable to your area, shoveling snow. Another related job is picking up dog poop in peoples' yards. With these added areas, you can be in business year-'round!

I used to get my garden done by a teenage entrepreneur who started mowing lawns at 15 and by 18 he had several groups all around the neighborhood working for him. So, good for you!

I would start in your neighborhood (assuming people have lawns there). Go from house to house and talk to people if possible or leave a flyer. Look for properties that look like they need a cut. Once you have some customers, word-of-mouth will hopefully kick in.

If you have any businesses in your area (smaller shops, supermarkets, restaurants), you can also ask if you can put a flyer in their window, leave some at the front desk or if they have a notice board put up a flyer.

Use social media for your area to advertise your services, e.g. Twitter, Facebook etc. No need to pay for ads for now. Just make an account, post frequently about gardening, add some pictures, add a hashtag for your area, and you should get some traction. Is there a WhatsApp group for your neighborhood? Offer your services there as well.

If you are mobile, you can widen your area.
