Colorado College is a great school to study environmental science. It is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado which is a beautiful area. As a result of its location, they are able to incorporate many field trips and hands on assignments in nature, which is a fun and cool way to learn and helps get you out of boring lecture halls. They also have very small class sizes which helps the student teacher ratio and improves learning. Lastly, they are one of few schools with a block system, which means instead of having math science writing etc all at once, they only assign one class at a time to your schedule, and those classes end after about a month. Thus, your able to focus on one class at a time which is really helpful for studying and fully absorbing the material.
I would look into other schools on the west coast as the environment makes for a better suited learning background for environmental science. Also definitely visit the colorado college website for information on how to apply.
