How can I gain experience in wildlife conservation?

Hello Sean,

My recommendation is that you join hunting organizations such as ducks unlimited.  Hunters are the largest group on conservationist and most of their programs and classes are free.

Hi Sean. I agree with Robert on joining a hunting organization, or fishing, like Trout Unlimited.  Also - I see you are in Philadelphia - you might want to contact your local game warden or the PA Outdoor Corps at https://www.dcnr.pa.gov/outdoorcorps/Pages/default.aspx.

Also - immerse yourself in reading books by Aldo Leopold ("Sand County Almanac"), John Muir, and other conservation pioneers. Your work in conservation needs a good foundation in the ethics of conservation as well as the technical aspects.
