How to find someone to interview for a school project?
We need to interview someone in the field we want to go into, and I want to go into a field related to the spanish language, specifically I was thinking about being an interpreter. Is there any way for me to do so? I'm not really sure how to find people in the field and linkedin is confusing me. Thank you for the help

What an awesome assignment that can provide insight for a career as a Spanish Language interpreter ! There is so much variety in that position and since you are interested in interviewing an interpreter and Linked In hasn't been a resource, maybe I can refer you to some places that would have what you are looking for. Interpreters mostly work through agencies and there are some in your town. I have left a link below for agencies and you can call them and request an interview with an available interpreter. They are located in Laredo.
Don't forget that the career includes translation, too. You can contact the people who do the closed captions and subtitles that translate English speaking films to Spanish and Spanish to English or closed captions in Spanish. It would be fun to be aware of what that is like, too. You can call the agency at the link I've left below. Their phone number is at the bottom of the page.
I think you'll be successful with these resources but just in case, I have another suggestion. Meet with a Spanish teacher at your school and ask the teacher for a referral to someone known that you could interview.
