Should I take classes to complete my IGETC requirements because I want to go to a University?
I am taking college classes while I am in high school. I wanna know if I am wasting my time or not.

Kudos to you for making the most of your high school years! It's truly an excellent choice. My own daughter followed the same path, and now at the age of 22, she's already achieved her Master's degree and secured a job. Keep pushing forward, you're doing great!

Why would it be a waste of time?
The idea is if you complete the IGETC, you can get the gen ed classes out of the way before you transfer to university. It will save you time and money. Just make sure that you pick the right courses and that the university you want to go to will give you credit for the courses you take (especially if you want to go out of state for university).
Talk to a transfer advisor both at the college where you take the courses and at the university you want to go to. But even if some courses are not transferable, you'd still gain because you have already covered some or most of the material even if you need to take another class.

Definitely not a waste of time! Completing the course work now will save you time and money later. The critical step, as Karin mentions, is making sure wherever you go to college will accept the credits you've completed.
