Colleen Granda

Hi! I grew up in NJ, moved to FL in high school and then attended University of Florida and majored in Chemical Engineering. I’ve worked with several different companies (Dow Chemical, Olin, Baker Hughes, Albemarle) in different positions (Operations Engineer, Project Engineer, Process Safety Manager) and, after much searching, found a home at BASF. I had many moments in my career when I questioned its direction or whether I’m cut out for it, and have made tough decisions to leave companies and start over in unknown territory a few times. I’m grateful that I’ve had the support of my husband (also a UF Chemical Engineering grad which is where we met, go gators!) and my family & friends as well as, of course, our 2 bunnies, 3 dogs and cat, because without them I know navigating this career would’ve been infinitely more intimidating. So I hope, that by providing my advice, perspective & support on Career Village I can help in some way, as I’ve been helped so often throughout my career.
