Talk to people - in business, government or owners of their own businesses (even many doctors and lawyers, etc. are owners of their own businesses) and ask them how much they know, or wished they knew, about accounting to help them with their responsibilities. Also don't forget to speak with your professors/teachers - they are a great source of knowledge.
Spend some time thinking about what your career goals are and how an accounting minor might align (or not align) with those goals.
