How would I be able to own businesses?
Would I have to get a job first, to make money, then be able to buy them?

Bassem’s Answer
To start any business, make a list of all your expenses and add them up, then multiply by 12 to see what the yearly expense picture would look like. Once you get your #s, break it down to a week-to-week sales basis to see what your sales would need to be. The best advice is to be fearless and start the business, willing to learn as you go. My second-best advice is to review your #s constantly!

This entirely depends on the type of business you would like to own. When I started my catering company, I had very little. I use the deposit of people gave me to buy equipment and to pay staff and eventually had a whole garage full of equipment that I could use for future events.
With all of the technology available, you could potentially start a business that is customer facing and build as you go

It depends on the business that you want to own. I have an online Bakery, but I work in the Technology Space. In my situation I worked for years before deciding to start my business. My outlay of Cash was not Huge because the business is online. Starting an online business does not cost as much as owning a business where you need to pay rental space for a building etc... You can start a Business even a Non-Profit and build the business as you go.

Owning a business takes a lot of experience, hands-on knowledge of operations and profit and loss statements. A simple way to own a business is to specialize in what you do and create a service around it. For example, I’m a chef who has owned, operated, open, and developed restaurants all over the world. After Covid, I stopped doing restaurants and launched a private chef business where I cook in people‘s homes. That is one example another example is consulting where others pay you to help them with the knowledge that you have. In this day and age operating a business with everything Working against you is very difficult. I would not open a business today where I had employees and inventory if one did not have over $1 million in the bank. Hope this helps and keep in mind. You are a product like Coca-Cola market yourself as such.

Thank you for your question. I am glad to hear that you would like to be an entrepreneur. Have you thought about what industry you would like to start your business?
Below are my suggestions:
1. Think about the industry you have interest or strength
2. Do some analysis on the industry, eg entry criteria, competition status, any alternative or substitute, etc
3. Attend industry related courses and management courses
4. Work in the industry some time to understand and establish people network
5. Start the business online first if possible
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Brian’s Answer
The final answer depends on who you are and what type of business you want to start. Most people who start a business have at least a few years of experience in the field. For example, if you wanted to own a marketing agency, it would serve you and your clients best to have a foundation of experience. If you wanted to open a cleaning business, you probably would be okay with some practice in your own residence.
You do not need to buy a business. You can simply create one. It's best to start with capital (in other words, money saved or loaned to start the business).
There are several factors that you should consider before starting a business:
- Does the business provide a service that meets a need or want?
- Do enough people have that need or want?
- How do you get in front of those people?
- How do you communicate with your target audience that your solution meets their need?
- Is your product an investment or an impulse buy?
