What type of career should I pursue if I am good at everything except for math?
I would love to become a counsellor of some sort, but i'm not sure if its the right job for me. I would also LOVE to do something in the medical field, but i'm not sure if i would be able to pass any of the Mathy stuff

Hi!
I am currently a biochemistry student on a premed track who is also not a fan of math! Trust me when I say you can do it! I only had to take calc 1 and 2 for my major, the rest of the math I do is in physics and analytical chemistry, which isn't as mathy.
I am also a psychology major and the math we do is more related to research and surveying, rather than integrals and calculus!
It scared me to think about, but know that if you are passionate about something you are more than capable. I would take a look at the classes you would need to take and as long as it isn't crazy advanced math (or even if it is), you will be fine!
Biological science majors have much different math classes than what is typically thought.
You got this!!

Hi Emiley. Thanks for your candid question.
First, do not fear "the mathy stuff":). In my opinion, one of the best things about math? Counting how much you earn (or can earn) as a contributor the medical field and/or a counsellor. Math will always be needed but not everyone needs to know all math at all levels.
If you can, take a look at some videos on YouTube that teaches Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Excel is one of those tools that every business needs/uses and it has a very wide range of uses...from creating great charts that show how something is performing...to very intricate spreadsheets that large businesses use to grow.
Excel also has great ways of making the "mathy stuff", not so mathy :).
Best of luck to you...
