Visit your local bookstore to find ACT practice exams. Dedicate one day a week to working on these. Over time, you'll become familiar with the question types, which will boost your confidence. When test day arrives, you'll feel more at ease knowing you understand the material.

Try to exercise before the test if you can, especially cardio. It helps wake up your brain and reduces anxiety.

Here are some helpful study tips from the ACT website. The ACT includes four multiple-choice tests: English, math, reading, and science, with an optional writing test. Each test has questions with four or five answer choices.

General Test Taking Tips:
- Prepare everything you need the day before: an approved calculator, test ticket, sharpened pencils, and photo ID.
- Confirm the registration time and location. Know how to get there and allow enough time for travel. Arrive 20-30 minutes early to register and settle in.
- Get a good night's sleep before the test.
- Wear comfortable clothes and eat a healthy breakfast on test day.
- Start by taking deep breaths to relax and keep a positive mindset.
- Listen to instructions carefully and ask questions if needed.
- Focus fully on your work.
- Keep your answer sheet close to your test booklet for quick and accurate marking.
- Read each question and all answer choices thoroughly before deciding. If unsure, pick the best option and move on.
- Answer every question since there's no penalty for guessing.
- Pace yourself and check the time occasionally.
- If you finish early, review the questions and your answers.
Wishing you all the best!

Definitely breakdown the content based on categories and prioritize the toughest material to study first. Find an aromatherapy item for relaxation or discover a breathwork meditation in between your breaks because ACT is a determining factor for placing you in the university you wish to study in but remember also showcases your ability to strive in the degree you seek. Find additional resources to refine your skillset and study abilities like Quizlet, Course Hero, and Khan Academy tools. Highlight specific sections that need extra attention and move them to a new Microsoft Office document template to reorder and rate where you need extra help. Most importantly, consider speaking to your school counselor to find out if you can enroll in a training bootcamp for refining your study skills. Study smarter not harder!
