So glad to see you want to work with kids. They need good role models and to be around people who are interested in their success.
The hardest part I've found is when they are having a bad day, and it's difficult to change that. Sometimes we have to let them deal with whatever they are feeling. Most rewarding is knowing you are having an impact, whether it be with a word, hug, or action, which will make a difference in their life.
With every good wish and many blessings!

Hey Skyler! The hardest part of working with kids, especially in social work or education, is seeing them go through things no child should have to experience. Sometimes they’re dealing with trauma, instability at home, or emotional challenges, and as someone who cares, it’s really tough not to carry that weight with you. Setting boundaries while staying empathetic is something I’ve had to learn over time.
But on the flip side, the most rewarding part is watching kids grow, open up, and thrive. Whether it’s helping them feel safe, confident, or understood, those little moments of trust and progress are incredibly powerful. It’s so fulfilling to be part of someone’s story in a positive way.
Working with kids isn’t easy—but it’s full of heart, learning, and purpose!

The hardest part of working with kids often involves managing challenging behaviors, ensuring their safety and well-being, and providing a supportive learning environment. The most rewarding aspect, however, is witnessing their growth, development, and individual personalities unfold.

I would say that the hardest part is dealing with uncooperative behavior, and the most rewarding is seeing how much you make a difference in their life.
