Hi Nikola- That's a great mindset to already be thinking about how you can apply to jobs as a well-rounded applicant.
If you're in college, take advantage of student organizations to build your network and skillset. If you're working, think of ways to go above and beyond at work that could showcase leadership skills.
As a recruiter, I can tell you we're not only looking for candidates who have activities, but we want to know what role you have in those activities....are you in a leadership role? Did you contribute a new idea that had a positive impact? Did you help grow the business/group? It may be hard to achieve things like this right away, but once you get your footing, think of ways to make an impact and then talk about it in your interviews!

Good for you to be looking for ways to increase your skills and abilities! My suggestion is to volunteer for a variety of activities and nonprofits. You can gain many skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication, and gain perspective on various cultures and lifestyles. Some opportunities only require a short amount of time. Examples would be serving meals to the homeless, visiting someone at a living assisted center who never gets visitors, help at a marathon or other event. You can also do chores (paid or not) for your neighbors, relatives, and friends which will add to your experience.
With every good wish and many blessings,
Karen

Joining a sports team is an excellent way to show your team skills. Consider joining a kickball, softball, or soccer league at your school or in your community. This will help you learn to communicate well with others and be a valuable team player, all while staying fit!
Additionally, you can improve your leadership abilities through activities in your religious community. Volunteer to teach a class, organize an event, or lead a fundraiser.
