I suggest starting with a corporation first. I worked at a salon and spa inside an athletic center, and it was great because many walk-ins became regular clients. This is a great way to build your clientele! Once you feel ready to go out on your own, let your clients know. Some might stay, but most will follow you.

Focus on building your network by joining forums, social media groups, and school bulletins. Offer discounted services to friends and family, and give referral discounts to attract more clients. When you gain a client, keep them engaged. Create an online database to store client information, and regularly send reminders and coupon codes to encourage them to return for your services. Networking and marketing is key!
