When is it best to begin studying for the MCAT Is there a certain time frame, or is it more based on when you complete the necessary classes?

When referring to classes, I mean would it be best to start studying after taking biochemistry, Chemistry 1, etc? Are any of these classes absolutely necessary to being overall preparation?

I'm not pre-med, but I most of my friends are. Most people will take their MCAT during junior year or senior year, but everyone I've spoken to recommends taking it after you've finished your degree. This way, you can fully dedicate your time to studying and you don't have to teach yourself any of the topics or see the information for the first time. It's also important to take the test early in case you want to retest, but also so you can apply early in the cycle.
