How can I find internships in economics, psychology, or business as a High Schooler?
I'm a high schooler who is looking to build up their experience and shore up their college app (I'm a junior). I'm interested in Behavioral economics, entrepreneurship, and business.

Internships can be very rewarding. To start, look for internships that align with your desired career. For example, if you’re interested in engineering in the cellular or wireline industry, search for companies that offer these positions. Visit their career pages to find internship opportunities.
Make sure you have completed relevant courses related to the internship you are pursuing. Prepare a resume that highlights your coursework and includes applicable keywords that match the internship posting. Additionally, be open to the possibility of relocating for the internship.
The key is to be prepared, disciplined, and open-minded in order to achieve your goals.
In addition since you are still in high school consult your counselor. They should have a list of companies that provide internships and scholarships within your community.

Great job on looking for internship opportunities while you're in high school—especially with summer just around the corner! If you're wondering where to find internships, a good place to start is the NextDoor app. It's not just for finding lost pets! Since it's local to your community, it's easier to use than LinkedIn for nearby opportunities. You can share what you're interested in and that you're looking for an internship in a certain field. Remember, business owners are also your neighbors! I've seen many high school students find internships in various areas through NextDoor. Just be careful to avoid scams or unsafe situations. There's a good chance a local business owner will see your post and be happy to help someone nearby.
Good luck!
