What are some higher-end colleges that have a strong architecture program?

I’m interested in a major in architecture, and I’m looking for schools to look further into. #college #college-major #architecture #major

Hey James! I made a search on niche (https://www.niche.com/colleges/search/best-colleges-for-architecture/) and some top schools like Columbia, Cornell, USC, UCB, and Northeastern have top-ranked architecture undergraduate programs.

Hi James, I'm a registered architect and studied at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Your choices are numerous. I would suggest researching the best rated undergraduate programs and contact them to ask questions. The college advisors at each school love to speak with potential students. Think about the following to help you narrow your choices:
1. Do you want to be in an urban environment (large city) or more of college campus environment (smaller city, large campus area).
2. Where in the US or world would you like to study?
3. Is it important to have a study abroad program at the college?
4. Do you want to study at a large university or a smaller university?

Look into these schools:
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor MI
Pratt Institute, Brooklyn NY
Yale University, New Haven, CT
Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) Providence, RI
Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), Los Angeles, CA
Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL
California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA

Good luck!
