How do I start to branch out to potential (business) employers whilst I’m still in college? #Spring25
I’m set to graduate in the spring of 2026 with a bachelors in business & management and I want to know how I can start to connect with employers so when it comes the day when I graduate, I’m not left clueless. #Spring25

Hi David,
I agree with the above answer--a mentor in your chosen field can be a great resource for business connections and advice. To find a mentor, try connecting with local business groups in your city--chambers of commerce, economic development groups, etc.. They often have mentorship programs. You might roll your eyes but your university Career Center and your Business School websites can be great resources for connecting with employers. You'll likely find a list of companies who recruit for jobs and internships directly through the university or Business school (or other disciplines). For example, many of the large consulting firms actively recruit at large universities a couple of times a year. Best of luck, David!

Hi David,
Hope you're doing well.
Try reaching out to people from that area on LinkedIn. Folks often share interesting articles and thoughts about their jobs there. Having a mentor in your field is super helpful for growing and learning. They can also support you in getting ready for interviews and finding your dream job.
