Honestly, one of the best things about being in the medical field—aside from the money, is knowing that what you do really matters. You’re there for people during some of the hardest moments in their lives. Sometimes you help save a life, sometimes you just hold someone’s hand and let them know they’re not alone. That feeling of truly helping someone stays with you and it makes all the tough days worth it. The impact you make is real.
