What do you think would be better? Is my plan a good choice ??
I plan on doing bsc forensic science and criminology with chemistry and zoology as combination subs.
I then want to get a msc in anatomy to persue phd in neurology. I am intrested in both crime related filed and research related field mainly brain stuff.
And having a forensic degree will widen my job options as well. But my mother keeps tell me to take anatomy for both bsc and msc.
What do you think is a better option??

If your ultimate goal is brain research, a BSc with a strong biological/anatomical base (like Anatomy, Physiology, Biomedical Science) is more aligned.
You can still minor in or gain certifications in Forensic Science later or even do a PhD in Neuroscience and work in forensic research labs.
Your mom has a point, but your interest in crime science is valid. Find a BSc path that blends both — or prioritizes brain science, and keeps forensic doors open.Let your MSc and PhD narrow your specialization.

Hi Anugraha,
Good Day!
Your plan is ambitious and shows a clear passion for both forensic science/criminology and neuroscience. Whether it's the "better" option depends on your long-term goals, flexibility, and interests.
If you’re 100% set on neurology research, starting with anatomy (BSc) might be more efficient.
If you want flexibility or are intrigued by forensic applications of neurology, your plan is excellent.
Compromise Option: Major in anatomy/neuroscience (BSc) but take criminology/forensics as electives/minors.
Your plan is good if you value interdisciplinary skills and job flexibility. However, if neurology is your primary passion, starting with anatomy (as your mother suggests) could streamline your path.
Wishing you all the best!
