Hello Giovanni,

First find your interest area, this is key even if the area doesn't exactly exist at the moment. 15-20 years ago the jobs that existed are pretty different that what there is today.

Second, see if there is someone in your local area or online community that is relevant to your area of interest and look into whether or not they take interns. Depending on the situation you may even ask to go in as an apprentice.

Your biggest strengths will be the desire to learn, and ability to adapt.

Hope this helps!

Hi Giovanni,

Your question and strategy are fantastic! It's understandable to feel that managing everything in a business is risky, especially when you're young and still discovering your strengths and weaknesses. A great way to learn more about the business world is by working for another entrepreneur. My son did this in his twenties while attending college. Many entrepreneurs are eager to find reliable people who are ready to learn, even for part-time roles.

Try reaching out to small business owners in industries that interest you. Meet them in person, share your interests and skills, and explain why you'd be a valuable part-time addition to their team.

Good luck with your search!

Chanél’s Answer

Hi Giovanni. This is a great question! I would highly recommend doing research and finding the specific industry you would like to explore for entrepreneurship. Then you can begin to find notable industry leaders and seek mentorship. Through mentorship, you can find out if this is a suitable path for you and gain exposure without the financial strain and risk. I would also suggest finding a mentor who is willing to offer mentorship for little to no cost. You can exchange your time and offer any value that you can bring in exchange.

Thank you for your question. I am glad to hear that you would like to become an entrepreneur.
Below my my suggestions:
1. Have you thought about what industry you have interest or strength?
2. Do some analysis on the industry, eg entry criteria, competition status, any alternative/substitute?
3. Take industry related courses and management courses
4. Work in the industry some time to understand the business model and establish people network
5. Start the business online if possible
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!
