To boost your chances of landing a job in digital media and animation, learning Blender and Adobe apps is key. Blender is a great starting point for 2D and 3D animation, and it's free. Familiarize yourself with Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, as well as After Effects, as they are essential in the industry.

If an Adobe subscription is out of reach, try free alternatives like DaVinci for video editing, Krita for digital illustration, and Inkscape for vector graphics.

Remember, knowing the software is just the beginning. You need to create work that is both creative and functional. A good understanding of graphic design and layout is important. Build a strong portfolio with your best work, leaving out anything mediocre. As you work on projects, focus on showcasing your top pieces. Be open to feedback, using it to improve your skills.

Don't worry if this seems overwhelming. You'll discover your strengths with practice and find your niche. Good luck!

Hi. Video is king. I would become fluent in Adobe premier, and Adobe Illustrator. Those 2 together are a good start. Make some vectors inn illustrator and import them into premier to create custom designs. Premier is very complex, so don't get overwhelmed. You can produce large scale animations, add music, affects, and use any and all Adobe library assets to enhance your videos. Sprout, Canva, and Adobe Express are simplified versions of video editing software, easy to get good at, faster, used in social media marketing, and graphic displays.
