With all the new laws, I am concerned about how to become a Physician Assistant while I cannot take it out in loans. Are there any physician assistants out there with any advice to get through school with little to no loans?

I have a chet account, but it will not get me to my master's degree. People say that private loans are bad so im pretty scared of those. Help!

With the new maximum limitations on federal loans, this is a very real issue many PA and medical students are facing as they max out on loan ceilings. Private loans may be possible but typically at higher interest rates. One thing you might want to consider, especially if you are considering practicing primary care in an underserved location is applying for a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) scholarship. This provides tuition and other support in exchange for a service commitment. You may also have a similar state or county program worth investigating.

Best of luck to you.
