How can I be better prepared for college?

I am playing college softball while also taking nursing classes and I am worried that I will get stressed and have to much stuff to do.

Congrats on playing college softball, that's a huge accomplishment already!

I think it starts with how you are perceiving your activities. Maybe softball and exercising will feel like a good relief from your classes. You will be working hard on both a mental and physical level, so it will take a lot of work, but I think it will also be a lot of fun.

Try and get plenty of sleep in college (I know it can be tough, but this is key). Also communicate with your mentors/teachers about how you are feeling. If you feel overwhelmed have a conversation and in general most people will be understanding of your situation and give you advice specific to you. You got this!

Hi Mackenzie,

You will only know if you can handle doing all those things if you try. Do you have to commit to a softball team? are you obligated to play? If not, then you can choose not to play softball and focus on classes. I hope this helps, and I wish you the best of luck
