I wish I had realized how much studying was needed to learn everything required to become a nurse. I needed better study techniques to focus on the most important information and leave the rest for later. Many readings were assigned, but not all were necessary at the time. I also wanted more hands-on experience in the field and more time in a lab, which wasn't common back then. I'm not sure what I would have done differently, but I think I would have been more mentally prepared for the challenge.
