What do you do to manage a healthy work-life balance as an emergency vet at a clinic or vet hospital?
I'm a high school student looking to enter vet school after I get my bachelors in biology.

Hi Chloe,
Even though I'm not in the medical field, I know that balancing work and life is tough for many people. I travel a lot for my job and work with people in different time zones. To manage everything, I've learned to prioritize, make commitments, and take necessary breaks so I can focus when needed. You'll have to make sacrifices on both sides. You might miss some sports games but make it to the important ones. You might join late work calls but sometimes need to handle personal matters. Once you decide what's important, stick with it. I also block time in my calendar for "reset moments," and it really helps.
Hope this helps,
Corey from Mass.
I have heard a few different views on this topic on various TED TALKS. Check it out if you can https://www.ted.com/topics/work+life+balance
