BTech OR BSc MSc Route...?

I’m an average student confused between BTech and BSc Computer Science → MSc Computer Science.
My goals are: manageable difficulty, low fees, good job opportunities, and a realistic path to study/work abroad (especially in cybersecurity/SOC roles).
Which path is better for someone like me, and why?

Hello Kasinath - Going by your lookout around low fee structure and manageable study curicullum, it is not a bad idea to puruse B.Sc followed by MS comp science. Although, it would be nice to get into government colleges with minimum fee structure for B.Tech computer science, in the long run, realistically, a B.Sc + certification courses and workshops on emerging fields within computer science will also support you in landing a good job. Ofcourse, the job market is always dynamically changing, so your hardwork and professional skills developed over course of time can open up newer windows of opportunities abroad, Thank you and best of luck.

For an average student seeking a path with manageable difficulty, low costs, good job prospects, and realistic study or work opportunities, pursuing a BSc in Computer Science followed by an MSc is often a better choice.

The BSc is typically less demanding than a BTech and comes with lower tuition fees. Employers often readily accept a combination of BSc and MSc qualifications. Many job roles prioritize skills, certifications, and practical experience over the specific degree type.

This route keeps your options open for various tech roles, further studies, or opportunities abroad.
