Which 12th grade science class should I take?
Hello, my name is Alexander, and I am currently in 11th grade. My strongest subject is English, and my plan for occupation is some variation of a literary analyst/aid. I don't particularly care for science or biology, but my teacher is kinda forcing us to ask about what science course I should take for next year. So... I dunno, what science class should I do? I was planning on AP Physics, but ya'll can tell me otherwise.

If you're really good at English and want to focus on literary analysis, don't stress too much about your senior year science class.
AP Physics is great for students who love math and solving problems. If that's you, go for it! But if science isn't your thing, AP Physics might just add unnecessary stress. Colleges don't expect future humanities majors to take the toughest science classes just to impress them.
If your school offers easier science classes like environmental science, earth science, or general physical science, these might be a better fit. They meet graduation and college requirements without overwhelming you, allowing you to focus more on English and writing classes. Doing well in a class you enjoy looks better to colleges than struggling in a tough AP class you don't like.
In short, choose a science class where you can do well and stay happy. You've already shown your strengths, and senior year is about finding balance. Colleges care more about you excelling in your chosen field than forcing yourself through a difficult science class.
