Hi Sean,
Where are you headed? What are your future plans for education and career?
You can of course take any AP that you would enjoy, but the most beneficial would be APs in something that's important for your further education/career. If you want to be in a STEM field, anything math is always a good idea. If you plan to major in political science and go to law school on the other hand, maybe history or English would be better choices.
I hope this helps! All the best to you!

Hi Sean - yours is an excellent question and Karin has given excellent advice. Only you can determine what is fun and challenging for you.
Also, I would add that you should think about APs in the full context of your life. By this, I mean in the context of other courses, family responsibilities, and potentially job or sports. Many students I know take more than one AP, and their physical and mental health suffers sometimes. Try to avoid this by not overloading.
Wishing you good luck!

Senior year can be stressful, especially when choosing classes. Remember, you don't have to take the toughest AP courses to prove yourself. You've come this far, so focus on finding a balance that challenges you without being too much. It's important to choose classes that make your year manageable and even enjoyable.
If you want interesting but not overly demanding classes, many students enjoy AP Psychology because it's relatable and engaging. AP Environmental Science is also popular for being practical and less stressful. If you like discussions and learning about how things work, AP Government might be a good fit. For those who enjoy reading and expressing ideas, AP English Literature can be rewarding.
Pick classes that match your energy and interests, not just what others think is impressive. With college applications and other responsibilities, it's important to give yourself some room to breathe. You deserve to be challenged but also supported, so you don't feel burned out by the end of the year.

I am a junior in high school and have taken multiple AP classes and I really enjoyed AP psychology, but it really depends on your interests. I have taken a couple AP English classes, AP U.S. History, and AP psychology; by far AP psychology was my favorite and the most fun.
