I would start with local research, even stopping at active building sites to request the contact information for the Project Manager. Start building connections like those and have a list of questions ready to go for the conversation. Ask for 1-2 referrals from them and any tips they would provide for someone just getting started.

You can see who was awarded best builder in each category on the "Best of Ohio" tab. Start by contacting Knez Homes (Best Community Development of the Year) and RSA Architects (Best Townhome/Condo/Villa of the Year) and see what guidance they can provide.
