What type of internships should I look for to find different job opportunities to explore future careers?

I want to pursue a career in business, and I am currently a high school senior going into my first year of college in the 26-27 school year.

I've learned so much by experiencing every step of how a product gets to the shelf, from gathering raw ingredients to manufacturing and selling to customers. This has given me a clear view of different perspectives and shown me how my company can best serve our customers.

Whether in a store, a factory, or an office, each role offers unique and important insights.

What worked for me was having a business-focused education and a technical-focused work experience. During my internships and early jobs, I worked in IT and technology departments. This opened up many new opportunities for me. I chose a work-study job in one area of IT while my internship was in another technology department. This way, I gained experience in the industry I wanted to build my career in, while also learning about different parts of it.
