How have sports business professionals found a balance in work-life without a regular 9-5 job while still pursuing a passion based career alongside a busy life?

I would love to work within the sports industry post-graduation. I am prepared to work long hours and weekends, but I would love to learn how current professionals balance this!

Hi Natalie,

Work life balance is very important and is something a lot of workplaces strive to do. In my case, my firm offers recreational leagues for various sports. I am currently in the soccer team for the company I work at and we have games once a week in the evening. As you progress and settle into your job, you will make time for things that matter to you. It may not be the same amount of time that's being dedicated to it, but you will find time.

Jason’s Answer

Balancing work and life is personal. As a high school football coach and sales leader, my weekends and nights can be busy. To manage, I make sure to set aside time for what matters most. This job isn't around the clock, so it's important to find a balance that suits you. Schedule time on your calendar to enjoy moments with family and friends.
