What is some good tips and tricks to help an upcoming Artist/Animator who wants to make his own Stories/Content?
I am currently using Ibis Paint X on my laptop to practice my art pretty much all of time and I want to get better at it desperately.

While technology and tools matter, stories remain the heart of everything, and storytelling will always be the main focus. To truly connect with your audience, aim to capture their attention and make them feel emotionally invested in your story. Make them laugh, smile, cry, or relate to the emotions you're sharing. Once you have your story, focus on sharpening your skills with the available tools and technology. It may take time to learn, but there are many online tutorials to help you. Use what you learn to create amazing content. Share it on your social platforms and pay attention to the feedback you receive. You can do it!

As an artist myself, I usually rush things, and it's bad. My point is that you should focus on art fundamentals first. If your target is to create your own stories, start with incredibly simple and short story projects.
Use your time on Ibis Paint X to practice anatomy, color theory, perspective, and gesture drawing. With practice, you can then create your own characters and build a collection or universe around them as your portfolio, and when you're comfortable with it, you can start animating.
Remember my rule: start small and avoid massive, complex epic scenes. During this early stage, begin with a 10-second project—like a sword swing, a blast study, or a facial expression change—to practice physics and perspective. Avoid highly detailed characters; instead, use a simple stick figure to master the core rules of movement first.
Embrace the practice, and most importantly, don't forget to enjoy the process! :)

Hello friend!
My favorite part about learning a new program would be to learn all of your shortcuts first.
Go to settings and your shortcuts should be there.
Play around with all of your brush and tool options then go about looking up tutorials for different art programs (in this case Ibis Paint X).
Consider smaller projects at first, doodling then upgrading to fun stuff you love to paint!
Once you have figured out the program and have a grasp I would consider buying a pen tablet of some sort (nowadays the lowest price ones go for 50 dollars and up!)

Hey there!
Don't be afraid to watch program tutorials and do warm ups. These tools are excellent in teaching yourself to improve your artwork. Developing a well written story is a huge help in getting your story seen by others and getting people invested into it.
Working with different warmups like color theory or types of sketches, or even people watching and doing warmups with random people you see everyday can help tons. Investing in a travel sketchbook you can take around might help a ton
