if my strengths are respect and hobbies are videos what type of careers or industries might best fit me?
what other strengths or experiences might i need for the suggested careers?

If respect is your strength, the military offers a career that values it highly. However, it's not for everyone. If you enjoy making videos as a hobby, consider a career in video editing. I know people who have earned money by editing videos for YouTube and designing stream layouts. It could be a great path for you!

Start doing interviews. Those two skills combined scream to me "this person would be great at producing and publishing interviews". Start small, podcast style. Put the finished project on YouTube or Twitch or Peertube or whatever works best for you. Figure out someone you know that would probably give a great interview with a great story. You don't need an 'A list celebrity' or someone famous to get a good interview, find people you know and respect and ask if they would help you.
As you do this, try to scale a little larger. Try to find people to help you with these projects and figure out what they do best. When you start to produce more of these start to figure out what you like to do best (be on camera, behind the camera, writing the script, setting up the interview, etc) and then try to find a way to do that task or job on someone else's crew.
The entry level for this is low, your phone likely has a good enough camera and mic that it will work for the first few. There is likely video editing software that works on your phone as well so you can complete the project. Publishing is easily done on YouTube, just get it out there to see the whole process. Put this into action soon so you can start to build your craft and make it into something great in the future!

Hi Jayden , this is a great question. Respect can take you a long way in any career field that you choose. If your hobbies are making videos that can also be useful in many career fields. I advise that you start looking at careers that can provide you with the lifestyle that you want/ value. Whether you focus on earning potential, flexibility, travel , stability, etc but always incorporate respect and your passions into whatever you decide to choose that way any career will feel fulfilling to you.

I'm glad you're asking these questions, Jayden. Keep asking adults -- those who have been where you haven't been yet -- for insight and advice. I like the answers that have been provided so far. I would add a couple of thoughts:
1-Try stuff out -- Maybe be a volunteer at a videographer's workshop, or volunteer to move sets for a wedding videographer, or watch YouTube videos about what it's like to be a videographer. Get to know videographers, even if it's just online. Do whatever you can to get your foot in the door, and to learn from videographers. You might find that you don't really like it, but you might find out that you LOVE it.

In summary, it's important to be in a career that we enjoy, but it's just as important to be in a career wherein we can contribute to society because this world needs you to magnify your strengths (in addition to enjoying your job).
