Which degree to go for between BS maths and BE geoinformatics ?
Yes those two are my only options. I'm not particularly interested in anything. And I know the job market is obviously not ideal right now but I do still want the safer one. I am NOT interested or planning to get higher education (at least for now). But i would like to keep my options open and not be restricted to a single field.

Hello Fatima. If your main priorities are job opportunities, flexibility, and not being limited to one industry, a BS in Mathematics is generally the safer choice.
A mathematics degree develops strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills that are valued in many fields. Graduates can work in data analytics, finance, banking, insurance, business analytics, operations research, software-related roles, education, and other industries. It also keeps the door open if you decide to pursue further studies later.
A BE in Geoinformatics is more specialized. It can lead to careers in GIS, urban planning, environmental management, etc. If you enjoy these areas, it can be a rewarding career, but the range of industries is generally narrower than with a mathematics degree.
