Hello. I am a 14-year-old student aiming for a high school scholarship to study in Japan, such as the Asia Kakehashi Project. However, I am currently struggling with my 10th board exams and might score below the required 60% marks. ?
Since I am still young, I am fully willing to work hard, learn the Japanese language immediately, and significantly improve my marks in the 11th grade. If my 10th-grade percentage stays below 60%, do I still have a realistic chance of getting selected by showing strong language skills and extracurriculars? Are there specific high school programs that prioritize an interview and cultural passion over past board results, or can I use my future 11th-grade marks to qualify instead?
